More kiwis benefitting from life-saving bowel screening

It’s been a very busy time for the National Bowel Screening Programme with South Canterbury and Canterbury DHBs joining the programme in October and Auckland DHB due to join in November.

Canterbury DHB has the largest bowel screening population of any DHB in the country because of the proportion of people living in the region who are in the eligible screening age of 60 to 74. The Ministry acknowledge the addition of the two DHBs in a national news release.
